A dry board is prone to cracking and warping when exposed to water. Boos Mystery Oil is a special formulation of oils that include mineral, linseed and orange oil. This combination of oils is superior to regular mineral oil in keeping wood fibers properly hydrated and will also protect your wood surface from water penetration by keeping the water out and oils locked in. Recommended maintenance every 3 to 4 weeks or when the board becomes dry. Use in combination with Boos Beeswax Board Cream for the ultimate protection and longevity. Directions for use:Completely clean and dry cutting board, chopping block or wood surface. Apply oil directly to wood surface and rub in with cloth. Wait 5 minutes and reapply more oil. Repeat until wood will take no more oil. After drying, the surface should still feel somewhat wet or oily to the touch- this is how you know your wood is properly oiled. Commercial or bulk orders may take 1 to 2 weeks to fulfill.
